Denmark trip

hello all:)
Im back from my trip to Denmark and I already miss it! I had a blast with tons of interviews, shooting with fashion nazi Jim Lyngvild and going to events like a taping of AllStars and party at St. Petri hotel. I was completely exhausted by the time I got on the plane but it was all worth it. i got articles in Her og Nu, Se og Hor, Billed bladet, Ekstra bladet and Allerod nyt. I also got internet interviews on Tjek tv and Amine. I also got on P3 morning radio and secured a Danish agent. Wow...I did have a little time to hang with my parents and I epecially loved my bicycle trip thru the forest and the family dinner at Sollerod Kro.
It was so weird to be recognized and asked for autographs everywhere. I'm still the same Ines I've always been, the only difference is that Im on tv now. Tony had fun also and as always loves Denmark, the food and my parents. We're now home in LA and taking a few days to unwind from the stress and jet lag.

Hollywood frue reunion

On saturday night we finally got us 3 girls together and had a really cool reunion at Kirsten's shop and her house in Newport Beach. It was really fun having our men meet for the first time and watch them trade 'war stories' from the filming days. They are all (of course) sweet, smart and have a great sense of humor. They have to be! They are with us! 3 Danes...we could never have men who were shy or easily offended since they would be reduced to a crying pile on the floor within minutes:) Kirsten had a private photographer take some really great pictures and there will be a story with the pics in Billedbladet soon.
The dinner was amazing and the table impeccably set up. I secretly dread having Kirsten over to our place for the next spagetti party since it's not at all fancy and it's 'every man for himself' once the pasta is set out in the kitchen:)
We have really become like the 3 musketeers us girls... sticking together and defending each other in the media when attacked. So nice:) Unfortunately we have not been able to get Simone to be a part of all this as she seems to keep to herself. Hopefully she'll change her mind and join us next time around.

Danish Hollywood wives episode 5

Howdy folks:)
The fifth episode just aired in Denmark and this time we were househunting. It should have been called 'the good, the bad and the ugly' cause that's what we saw. One house was so hideous and smelled so bad that I almost gagged. After all, one can only handle SO much ugliness before the body revolts:) The last house was fantastic but also massive. I would have to put a tracking device on my cat Rupert's collar to find him in that place...well... come to think of it all I have to do is open a can of tuna but I digress...
Also, the Danish press are having a hay-day coming up with all kinds of fanciful stories some true and some straight up lies but hey..even bad publicity is good publicity right? Well, the 3 of us girls are about to turn this game around..you'll see:) Stay tuned!

Episode 4

Hello folks!
In one hour the fourth episode of my show rolls onto the screen in Denmark. In this episode I've contacted a psychic who can help me communicate with the famed comedian Gilda Radner who lived in my house with her husband actor Gene Wilder for many years until her tragic death 20 years ago. She likes to hang around here and before I moved in did a lot of little 'funny' things. She'd turn on the tv, open closets and appear in windows. I have to be honest that it freaked me out and when I moved in I made her a deal: I would fix up her house and she'd quit scaring the crap out of me. Fair deal and so far we have both kept our ends of the bargain. The psychic was able to communicate very clearly with her and get me some answers I've wanted for a long time.
Also, I had an article in Ekstrabladet which detailed my painful years in highschool where I was mercilessly teased by one girl in particular named Marlene. She was the Devil encarnate and gave me nightmares for years. I found her profile on facebook and realized Im still mad this many years later. I do, however, believe in karma and am sure she's reaped some pretty nasty things in her life as a result of her horrible actions towards me in the past. I was flattered and happy to get many emails and notes from others who have suffered similar fates and we had to agree that what doesn't kill us has, in fact, made us stronger.

The saga continues

Oh my what a week it's been. Let's recap shall we? Sunday I was rudely accused of having breast implants by Ekstrabladet in Denmark with their supposed 'plastic surgeon' experts. Wow..I certainly hope they don't operate on people if they can't see the difference between a natural (B cup people!! come on!! WTF!?) breast and a silicone one. They must be veterinarians..not MD's!! Tuesday I was in 'Her og Nu' with a great article about my dad who got a medal of honor from the Danish prince in 2008 for exellence in business. I was there in Moscow when he was honored by Prince Joachim and Princess Marie. Thursday I was on the cover of 'Se og Hor' with a topless pic (you can see it in the 'press' section) with 3 full pages inside with me and my honey. I was at first horrified to see myself topless on the cover but the story inside was very well and beautifully written (thanks Henrik:) and my mom was pleased. Let's face it folks, we're all just trying to impress our moms all our lives right? Thursday night the 'babysitting' episode aired and I was nervous about the potential negative backlash since Im now the 'babyhater' of the show. I was pleased to learn that appartently Im exptemely funny when changing diapers and managing a screaming infant. So much so that another Danish tv show contacted me to appear on their show taping next month. Genious! Love it!

Danish Hollywood wives

Im back:) Went to a red carpet affair today for the Beverly Hills Film Festival with my publicist. She's working to get my name out here in LA and it's working! There's a press explosion about to happen this week i Denmark with 4-5 magazines coming out with long interviews and photos of me. It's all good:) Also, Tony caused quite a stir (and several articles) in regards to his blogging on 'Trendsales' website. A group of women were blogging about the show and being 'not so nice' and he decided to set the record straight. I feel that everyone has the right to their opinion and I never imagined it would blow up like it did.
Im looking forward to episode 3 where I pretty much loose my mind babysitting an infant and toddler. not my thing...but I had to be a good sport and help out my girlfriend right? Ugh...haha.

Danske Hollywoodfruer episode 2

Hey friends.
Tomorrow the second episode of my show is on at 8pm Danish time on Tv3. I saw it already and it's hilarious! The cameras follow me to a lingerie photoshoot for a Valentines spread for a womans magazine. We were there all night (10pm- 5am) and I was totally exhausted but it was worth it! I've been swamped with interviews this week for Ekstrabladet, BT, Kig Ind and even p3 radio who had me on live last night. Today I was skyping with my mom who showed me the new issue of Kig Ind which has a full page on me alone. So cool! I've also gotten so many responses on my facebook account (ines garcia romero) from people I used to go to school with back home. They all say they really like that Im just as I was back then:) That's nice to hear!
