Update

Hello friends:)
These past two weeks have been absolute madness! Last week I had two red carept affairs (one for the Sirens society and the other the launch party for Bel Air magazine). I had a blast at both of them and got some great pics on the red carpte (see my facebook account ines garcia romero). The weekend I spent prepping for a 4 day shoot which Im not allowed to talk about just yet. I can say it was mayhem and SO fun!! OMG! I cannot wait to see these episodes. It was a trainwreck but a very funny one:) My kitty Rupert was of course front and center and made it into press photos as well as a little intro video. Im tellin 'ya the kid's got some real talent!
It was so nice to chill today and do almost nothing! Just lay on the sofa watching my derelect tv programms (intervention, hoarding and obsessed..man Im weird!). Can't wait to see my honey tomorrow after he's been out of town for 11 days. That's the longest we've ever been apart in the 2 years we've been together. My friend tried to get me into the daytime Emmy party tonight but Im almost glad he couldn't since Im beat and need a rest:)

Finale show

So..thursday the finale episode rolled across the screen in Denmark and we recieved record numbers and a season 2. People often ask me what it's been like to participate in the show and I will say that it's been overwhelmingly positive. My heart has been warmed many time by sincere and wonderful emails as well as kind well wishes. A small percentage has been quite negative and hard to swallow at times. It's never fun to read negative half-truths and completely fabricated stories about yourself in the gossip papers. It feels like a total violation but I understand that it's part of the 'fame-game'. Also, some people have become extremely jealous and channelled their negative feelings in very unproductive and hurtful ways. You really have to have nerves of steel and a tough exterior to allow yourself to be exposed in a show like this. I've learned the hard way that you really can only trust a very small group of people and simply MUST put up boundaries with the rest or they will steamroll over you with their own agenda and ego trips. It's all good. I do (like SO many of you write to me) have my legs solidly planted on the ground and know who I am. Regardless of rumors and hype, I am just me Ines.

Episode 9

Hi Friends.
Watching the 9th episode on thursday I felt really touched and proud of my honey Tony. I knew he really went all out preparing for his spectacular proposal, but seeing him selecting the ring and rehearsing with the band was just SO wonderful. I must be the luckiest girl in the world to have such an amazing man who loves me so much:) I also felt a little sad that the show is coming to an end soon:( I've had so much fun and grown so much closer to my mom in the process. I skype with her after every episode and she get's to ask 'behind the scenes' questions. When I was home a couple of weeks ago she even got to be in the finale episode! I truly hope there is a season 2 cause I already have tons of great ideas which would make great tv.
Meanwhile Im enjoying life in LA and have gone to a few red carpet events (see all pics on my facebook site ines garcia romero) and have a big meeting with an agent wednesday. I also have plans to participate in more tv projects in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!

Denmark trip

hello all:)
Im back from my trip to Denmark and I already miss it! I had a blast with tons of interviews, shooting with fashion nazi Jim Lyngvild and going to events like a taping of AllStars and party at St. Petri hotel. I was completely exhausted by the time I got on the plane but it was all worth it. i got articles in Her og Nu, Se og Hor, Billed bladet, Ekstra bladet and Allerod nyt. I also got internet interviews on Tjek tv and Amine. I also got on P3 morning radio and secured a Danish agent. Wow...I did have a little time to hang with my parents and I epecially loved my bicycle trip thru the forest and the family dinner at Sollerod Kro.
It was so weird to be recognized and asked for autographs everywhere. I'm still the same Ines I've always been, the only difference is that Im on tv now. Tony had fun also and as always loves Denmark, the food and my parents. We're now home in LA and taking a few days to unwind from the stress and jet lag.
Thanks for all the wonderful comments and emails from fans on facebook...keep'em comming!

Hollywood frue reunion

On saturday night we finally got us 3 girls together and had a really cool reunion at Kirsten's shop and her house in Newport Beach. It was really fun having our men meet for the first time and watch them trade 'war stories' from the filming days. They are all (of course) sweet, smart and have a great sense of humor. They have to be! They are with us! 3 Danes...we could never have men who were shy or easily offended since they would be reduced to a crying pile on the floor within minutes:) Kirsten had a private photographer take some really great pictures and there will be a story with the pics in Billedbladet soon.
The dinner was amazing and the table impeccably set up. I secretly dread having Kirsten over to our place for the next spagetti party since it's not at all fancy and it's 'every man for himself' once the pasta is set out in the kitchen:)
We have really become like the 3 musketeers us girls... sticking together and defending each other in the media when attacked. So nice:) Unfortunately we have not been able to get Simone to be a part of all this as she seems to keep to herself. Hopefully she'll change her mind and join us next time around.

Danish Hollywood wives episode 5

Howdy folks:)
The fifth episode just aired in Denmark and this time we were househunting. It should have been called 'the good, the bad and the ugly' cause that's what we saw. One house was so hideous and smelled so bad that I almost gagged. After all, one can only handle SO much ugliness before the body revolts:) The last house was fantastic but also massive. I would have to put a tracking device on my cat Rupert's collar to find him in that place...well... come to think of it all I have to do is open a can of tuna but I digress...
Also, the Danish press are having a hay-day coming up with all kinds of fanciful stories some true and some straight up lies but hey..even bad publicity is good publicity right? Well, the 3 of us girls are about to turn this game around..you'll see:) Stay tuned!

Episode 4

Hello folks!
In one hour the fourth episode of my show rolls onto the screen in Denmark. In this episode I've contacted a psychic who can help me communicate with the famed comedian Gilda Radner who lived in my house with her husband actor Gene Wilder for many years until her tragic death 20 years ago. She likes to hang around here and before I moved in did a lot of little 'funny' things. She'd turn on the tv, open closets and appear in windows. I have to be honest that it freaked me out and when I moved in I made her a deal: I would fix up her house and she'd quit scaring the crap out of me. Fair deal and so far we have both kept our ends of the bargain. The psychic was able to communicate very clearly with her and get me some answers I've wanted for a long time.
Also, I had an article in Ekstrabladet which detailed my painful years in highschool where I was mercilessly teased by one girl in particular named Marlene. She was the Devil encarnate and gave me nightmares for years. I found her profile on facebook and realized Im still mad this many years later. I do, however, believe in karma and am sure she's reaped some pretty nasty things in her life as a result of her horrible actions towards me in the past. I was flattered and happy to get many emails and notes from others who have suffered similar fates and we had to agree that what doesn't kill us has, in fact, made us stronger.
